This is for my Grandmother… its one of her favorite Sinatra songs… in fact, it just so happens to fit perfectly with the theme of love. How often is love the logical thing? So, here is Frank Sinatra with “I’ve Got You Under My Skin”

This one is for you grams!

Today is a song from an actress who really surprised me… Gwynneth Paltrow and Huey Lewis singing “Cruisin” makes me want to get a convertible and just take off cross-country!

In celebration of Valentines day. I am doing a special set of song of the week posts. I’m going to post my 10 favorite love songs! Now, most of you who know me, know that I absolutely loathe Valentines day. However, this year, I am refusing to be down on it! So, enjoy part one… Sade singing “Kissing You”

This week’s song is a new song by a not-so-new band. But its been hitting the charts lately, and man, I’m hooked! It’s Train with “Hey, Soul Sister” Check it out…

This week’s song of the week is kind of a philosophical one… at least, I think so. It has to do with breakups, and how to handle it when the other person is fine, and you’re not. Anyways, it’s Break Even by the Script.

This is the third installment of the Exogenesis series. Its a set of three songs by muse… check it out! Next week we’re on to a new one!

This is the second part in the series of three songs making song of the week. It’s Muse and “Exogenesis – Cross Pollination”. I really love this entire CD, you’ll probably hear more songs of the week from it in the weeks to come!

This week you are in for a rare treat. The song of the week this week is the first of a three part composition by the rock band ‘Muse’. However, don’t let the title of rock band scare you… this piece of music will blow your socks off. It is the Exogenesis Symphony.  Listen, and be amazed.

This week its a kind of narcissistic song. But I like it… It’s Robbie Williams (yes, the same guy that came out with that song “Millennium”) with “Bodies”.

Tonight I brought home my new kitten, a black male of 10 weeks. I named him Riven! He’s adorable. For those of you wondering, Riven came from a game I played as a kid. It was from the Myst series. This little fella is beautiful, and so I felt that the name fit.

Finally, I think this is such an exciting event… that I’ve opted to insert a mid-week song of the week! I think it’s very fitting! Michael Buble’s ‘Havent Met You Yet’.
